About Anjana

In essence, I have decided not to bore you with too many details about why Anjana has come about, I think I have done that on the welcome page.

My soap base contains coconut, palm, castor and safflower oils. This makes for a very nourishing experience.  Most of my blends are essential oil based, but a couple are fragrant oil based, and these will be distinguished below, and when making the blend selection.

With my soap collection, I have a variety of soap molds that you get to choose from!  It was difficult  for me to narrow these down, so through the process of natural selection the ones that prove popular will stay.  Having said all that, do not be surprised if new molds appear.

Good quality soap is something that should be a treat to use, and you shouldn't feel like you have experienced a sandblasting, or been stripped bare.

At present I am studying to achieve my Cert in Aromatherapy, but have done the subjects to enable me to blend safely, as this is very important to me.  Having said all that, a natural product doesn't necessarily mean that there may not be any issues with allergy or sensitisation.  You know your body best, so use that as a guide. If you have any questions, I will unturn every rock in order to answer them.

The Lighthouse Mold, is special!  This mold was selected in the memory of my father in-law, who lost his battle to cancer.  He loved the ocean, and nature in general.  A special man who maintained his dignity to the end. 
 

For this reason, a dollar from every Lighthouse Mold sold will be donated to Austin Health.

In essence, this place is a lighthouse for many cancer sufferers, and their families.

                                    Soap Blends

Gentle Moments   - Lavender.    A good old favourite, using true lavender.  A good choice for the kiddies.

Earth Sonnet- Sweet orange, Patchouli, Palmarosa,Lavender.     If you like earthy, you will love this one!  It is nicely balanced, with a bit of everything that nature has to offer.

Green Fresh- Bergamot, Sweet orange, Pettigrain.    A great refreshing blend, liked by both male and females.

Sweet Freshness- Grapefruit, Palmarosa, Atlas Cedarwood.    Freshness, with a touch of sweetness.  Liked by both male and females.

Fragonia- Palmarosa, Lemon, Fragonia.     A unique blend that is uplifting and cleansing.

Woody Roses- Tangerine, Lavender, Palmarosa, Rosewood.   Citrus, floral with a touch of wood.  Ladies love this one!

Quiet Strength- Lavender, Lime, Geranium, Atlas Cedarwood.   A unique and balanced blend.  A favourite with the gents.

Innocence- Lavender, Patchouli, Palmarosa, Geranium,Ylang Ylang.   A beautiful feminine blend, without the floral onslaught.  A light touch of sensuality!

Rose Garden-  Fragrance oil.    Like the name suggests, this has the freshness of a garden, with the gentleness of roses.

Fresh Fresh-  Fragrance oil.  Great for males and females alike.   It has a crisp clean scent.
